Second i never said we should not be greatful that the POS is gone . But to see peolple   and ALOT of Young peolple,  what were they 10 when this happend ?   Celibrating  to me makes you no better than the others .  Think of it this way  When Michel Jordan played Basketball  you never seen him dancing and jumping around when he scored ? So it is mostly the outward show of emotion that you find disturbing? Well, we all show our happiness and appreciation in different ways. I'm with you on the Michael Jordan & Jerry Rice method of getting things done without the hoopla that is so common these days -- but a lot of folks like to whoop it up. If that works for them, so be it. As for people being kids in 2001, so what? A great many young people were affected by the attacks and I would never tell them not to appreciate what has just happened.

Whatever you did at the site of the attacks, thank you. I did what I have done since 1967 -- went to work and did my job. The company I worked for had facilities in one of the towers. To my knowledge, none of us on the west coast were asked to go.

First of all i have taken great offence to this statement.  Yes i was i was 10 and sitting in 5th grade math class watching across the hall from my class room and yes all i knew was that someone had flown a plane into the towers and alot of people would die that day.  But when i read the newspaper and watched the newes for weeks to come i completly understood what it ment when the found someone alive in the rubble at ground zero (or should we not celebrate that either) it pisses me off to no end that you are putting our generation down just because we were 10 at the time of the attackes..... SO what wwe still under stand what was goin on and that Osama Binladen and the taliban were responsible for the 2 towers falling for the plane that crashed into the pentagon and for the plane that was brought down by brave men who had the balls to over take the hijackers  about 150 miles from where i sit right now in a pennsylvania field. So i ask you can you rember where you were the exactmoment  the toweres fell i think you can lay off the no celebrating thing it happened in our life time and well celebrate it in rembrance of all the victums of 9/11 and soldiers the war on terror has claimed !!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dalai Lama said the killing of Osama was justified, which just blew me away.  


But, I feel that we need to send a note to the Radical Muslim's or ? that feel like they need to attack any US citizen.  That we mean business, but at the same time we have to follow Muslim tradition in burying the dead, to show the Muslim nations' that we aren't gonna be disrespectful of their ways.  Terry Jones, is disrespecting the Koran, and look at what that has done to the Muslim nation towards us.  The Muslim nation as a whole is a very peaceful group of people.  Just that some of them are nuts.  Look at us, we have our own nuts in the USA, do we need to bring up Timothy McVay, Jeffrey Dalmer, David Koresh and Charles Manson?  And parading Osama's body around, what would that show the Muslim nation?  They were pissed over the Koran burning, and if we put Osama's body on display so we can let every red blooded American have their way with him would just show them WHAT???  That would be like dumping gas on a fire, we are trying to put out.  We are already walking a fine line with them anyways, so we have to be careful on what we do.

As for dumping his body in the ocean, I wouldn't want that piece of in my worst enemies truck.  So, get a DNA sample, get some pictures of him, and get rid of that maggot.  But follow the Geneva Conventions rules on dealing with the deceased.  

As for showing pictures of his body, Donald Rumsfield said, back in 2003, he showed the pictures of Saddam's dead sons, and he didn't want to, and to this day he regrets it.  

There have been many stories that we had Osama in our crosshairs, but we don't know that cause we weren't there.  And there are times that we just have to believe our government.  Just as crooked as they are, we are just gonna have to do it.  We need to know that its done.  Period.  And go on about our business, and move forward.

RockRescue..What I meant by the U.S. used to be feared was that other countries did not mess with us, or try attacks on us without knowing that we would unleash back.  That's all.  Though we still do, it seems like there are so many regulations to how we can retaliate to fight for our country.  Does that kind of clear it up?  I did not mean that people should fear the good about our country, but to fear with messing with it. This country is awesome, and we do a lot of good for the entire world, but if you mess with it, be prepared for retaliation.

All i am saying is to see ppl cheering and ranting about it   makes us no better .   Trust me if someone comes to our country and kills innocent People just becuse  well i am the first to line up and even the score plus some . But you wont see me danceing the jig   in fact you would not even know i was there  . I do not beleive that the news should be involved in any military activity either.

RockRescue.....I am not happy about innocent people getting hurt either, but they are doing it to us as well.  I am not saying it is right in any way, it unfortunately happens, but I would not dance and parade about it either.  I would rather be where there is no such thing as war, but that obviously does not exist.  I would rather make friends, not enemies, which is why it makes me mad to hear soldiers getting hurt and even worse because they have kids and wives to go home to as well.  I had a buddy of mine go to dessert storm 3 different times, and thank goodness he is the tough guy he is, made it back.  He is out of the military now, but he is o.k.  I had a friend not make it back, and that is where it angers me, because his wife and kids have no father now.  I just care about our troops is all.

I just about shot rum and coke all over myself last night, when the wife told me that there is a "Deather" following now.     

Can we just get back to getting our lives back together.  I'm ready to move on, and I'm tired of all the political slander, oil prices, cost of food, how much more in taxes is being taken from me, how much it's gonna cost to send my kids to college, and I'm screwed.  Because, I'm so broke that I couldn't afford a bucket to piss into sometimes.  There are days that I don't want to do a god damn thing, cause I know its gonna cost me money that I don't have, or can't afford to spend.
