Kind sir, could you please take a tape measure to them tires and get me a real-world street pressure height/width number? Thank you, and nice pictures.

Somebody stole an inch there Glen.  I always wonder who does the measuring when a tire that is stamped as a 35 measures in at 34, some fuzzy math going on there.

Everything ive ever read/heard  is that its because they measure them horizontally  not vertically

Um, they're round, perfectly round this does not compute

I think IC is referring to the tire's position relative to the ground when measuring?  Glen measured them when they were mounted or in a vertical position, rather than in a horizontal position or when the side walls are flat against the ground.  I remember BigMike's comparison to comparably labeled MTRs.

At any rate, those tires are bad ass!

at 25 psi on the rear of my truck they are slightly bulged as most radials always are. I'll go measure my spare

ok, here is the "actual" height or I guess diameter would be a better term.

More often than not its in the rim. My 35" MT-Rs went from 34" on 8" rims to a damn short 33"ish on 10" rims. Thats why I asked, because Mr. Glen here is on 10s. While a friend of mine, at 25psi and 12" rims they measure a little shorter than these here.
now, if its not to much trouble, could you get us a width measure ment looking at the tread(so we can see section width vs. tread width) please?

                          -Thanks, Stephan

Rocksurfer

Exactly, still doesn't messure up to a 35, I think you need to get some money back Glen you were shorted a 1/2 inch. :gap:

if he is on a 10"  then it would be damn close to 35" tall on a 8.  regardless they look dope on your truck.

i have been wanting a set for a while and my tax return is making it happen this year  :yesnod:.  going 17s too because of my future axle plans(80 series).  im just having a hard time dropping $1800 to go from 35s to 37s, though i can resell my km2s and rims and recoup some cash.

40" radials would be tits.

That is true. Despite their smaller size they were AMAZING off road tires. I wished they made a 38" tire, then I would've had a 37" tire :gap:

i considered the 39" maddogs too, they're spendy, and ive always wanted the rockers.

considered the 39.5 bias...hell im already spending this much..haha....but they are just not practical for a non-trailered toyota.

17x8s on order and gonna pull the trigger on the 37" radials today.
