I've inherited an '85 4runner powered by a stroked 5mge driving a 5 speed manual (not sure if it's a G52 or W56), most of the rest is stock other than the 5" lift riding on 12.5 x 33" rubber 12000lb winch and custom bumper. Presently the tranny is toast, but I'm looking for a W56 as replacement. I was thinking of using a R150f from a $200 donor but it seems the bell housing is a custom item.
