anyone done flat belly i wonder if i have to cut out more then i marked in primer red like do i need to go all the way to the firewall

awhotrods

Looks like a good build!!  I would say start with that area, get everything mocked up, & cut as needed.  Better to cut off just enough & have less to put back together!

no i havn't actually could it be close?

Could be reall close considering most trucks come with wider fornt axles stock.

That 14 bolt could be around 65" , that front is 64.5"

Plus if you go to disc brakes in the rear you lose about an 1" of width.

Are you running a rotated tcase doubler? I just cut my 1st gen out for a flatbelly, it takes quite a bit more than that. Mostly to clear the front output.
this my man lysol, fresh out the joint

mayberry

no its just a standerd adapter  ill just have to put it up there and cut what i need to this also has no body lift so i dont get any help there but i may put one on there im not sure yet

peacesells

youll pretty much end up replacing the whole trans tunnel, I forgot to mention that im running a 1in body lift. Ill try and post a picture up of how much I had to cut

yea i have the rotated adapter and to flat belly without any body lift i had to remove the whole tunnel plus a little more where the front drive line part of the case was hitting...
