love the crawler it works flawlessly yep did every thing myself the only part i had trouble with was i didnt have the right bearing splitter for my press so i had to to some gerry rigging to press the peaces off the main shaft and one the driverside plug that holds the detent ball in was stripped out so i had to drill it out

yotaboy79

Hyena

Damn, your bed is worse then mine.  Time for longfields!

yotaboy79

yeah it is that rope is the only thing holding the tail gate  closed and the only thing realy holding the bed side on is the tool box and the rope
ill probably throw one of the spairs i got from you in untell my next paycheck then order a set of 30 spline longs

yotaboy79

30 splines come before motor, i still havent compleatly finished the bed it should be done tomarrow

yotaboy79

shrapnel!!!
i broke another one the bell on the actual housing is so mangled that im gunna need a new housing i cant get the old inner axle seal out and i know i wont be able to get a new one in, ill just run it till i can get my greasy hands on another housing im ordering some 30 spline longs tomarrow

Hyena

Nice.  The birf i broke took out the seal also and damaged the seal to housing bore pretty bad.  It took me awhile to get the seal out.  I then had top use an air grinder to make the seal bore better.  but mine didn't break the bell, just the guts.  and pictures of the seal/bore?

yotaboy79

ill get some pics of the housing tonight
my 30 splines are on the way!!!!

Hyena

Nice, no more worrying about front axles.

yotaboy79

I was worried about my hubs, but they surprised me at the Hammers.  They held up great.

It's been awhile since I have been on and I am impressed to see the progress.  Wish mine went as fast as yours but thats just how it goes.  Congrats on the longfields, I remember when I met you, you bragged that you never broke a birf, funny how quick things change.
