tire wear i have been told by many people is under 20000 miles then add your spool.  i bought my bias ply tsl's thinking that those were going to last the longest. about 30000 miles with the spooled rear. i would have to check psi and rotate frequently to do that though. fortunetly my 83 will not be my dd anymore. i have yet to drive on those tires so i can't verify what i said is true though :dunno:

what do you mean?  :dunno: if your asking about what kinda bender im using, the answer is a home built one that uses pro tools 105 series dies and im using a cut off wheel to notch im about ready to get a notcher cus using the cuttoff wheel is getting old and if your asking about materials ive been using
1 1/2 .120 wall i used .188 dom for the main mounts on the sliders and the exo will have 1 1/2 .125 wall DOM for the main hoop the rest will be 1 1/2  .120 wall  not DOM its to damn expensive even though i get it at 10% above cost from my work
heres a pic of the bender i built

Sorry, I was meaning what you were using as a bender. Thats a good looking bender. Would you mind taking a few more pics? Is that just a plain ol jack from HF or somewhere similiar? I'm thinking of building one but I dont want an expensive one. Just something simple that I can build

ok time to bring this thread back from the dead again first off my new tires are on the way and im in the prosess of making an aluminum battery box and ive got some comfy bucket seats sitting on the shop floor waiting to be put in and ive got a t-case laying on the floor as well so i can go duals as soon as i have the money to buy an mco7 and a 4.7 gear set, i just put some new 14 in bilsteins on the front and ive still gotta finish my freaking exo, and im tossing around the idea of linking the rear but that probably wont happen for a wile. so here soon when i get the time this is gunna get a little crazy ill have some progress picks up tomarrow after i drag my lazy ass out from in front of the tv and the computor and get to work on the exo and battery box
 :screwy:  :hammer:
