Hi all, Im planning on swapping out my L45 for my W56 sitting in the garage, its waiting for duals so it can all get done at once, should be very soon now
I know about cutting and extending drive lines, no biggie. But I still have some Q's
Im already struggling going up I80 to get up to the trail (i live in rocklin and go to fordyce Alot) i have to down shift into 3rd some times, is power going to be even more of a problem with the W56? I dont want to be at 5 grand just to get up the hill, gear ratios for the L45 would nice to see if someone has em, so i can compare to the w56 gear sizes.
Also will it be possible to use two stock cross members with the w56 and duals? The w56 will be about 5.5 inches longer, and duals is another 7. I wanna reuse mine if possible and i can get another from the boneyard, Ill be using U-bolts to hold em up, seems to work.
If anyone has pointers on this swap let me know im sure im forgetting something. ill take all the help i can get
