Sound like a normal, everyday 4wd outing.  Wish I'd been there!
Some idiots are too busy knowing it all, to ever learn anything...

It was fun, I had the pleasure of joining in. I actually have some really cool video of the trip. It makes a nice DVD, but I need to try to compress for web. Its quite large, and would take time to load, I think I will make it into Divx format, and put a link so people can download. It was a really fun trip, and a first for many, night, and snow combination. Cant wait till next time. Cant wait till I have my own rig to drive. It was nice meeting Big Mike and friends. Dude is nuts!!!

Oh ya, the really scarey part about Deliverance isn't getting killed it's more of akind 'a' thing. Watch yur back man!

It's more then a :gay: thang, it's an inbred "squeal like a pig" mountain man thing. Gotta see the movie THEN go out in the middle of the night.  :scared: 'Course I doubt you got mountain men in CA like we might run across on our WV vacations. :ack:

great story mikey, nice pics too.  seams like the more ppl I go on a run with the more truble there is. :dunno:

sorry to here your fan did not do the job for you. did the stock one get it done ok?

I've only ever had a little heating truble once, when I was pulling my tent trailer up in the santa curz moutains on a hot day and just could not get it over 25 due to truns and traffic. got up to about 80% then held frim there.

what size and type tire is TURBO running?  I've got 33X9.50s TKO's and think there just to small and narow for the snow with the wiegth of my truck.

and if you hear bango's in the woods at night, . . . . . . . . RUN!!!!  (that was too funny! )
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

Hay Mike, not trying to be out of line here, but some of the guys thought you un-intentionally mentioned who made it up the hill. Not trying to be petty but wanted to give credit to Dean for hitting the top first, and for Carlos, I know lots of people razz him about getting this Jeep, but it did pretty good, even cut around Dean in some places.

Hey no problem TrackVino- The only problem is that I had no idea who made it up first as I was helping Ryan fix Bruce's winch! I think I've got a bit of the "Marlin" curse. I can't seem to stay at the front with the front pack, I'm always getting hung back waiting for someone or helping out if I can

If you have some more pics, please post em up man!
:worthless:

Hey BLF, Yup the stock fan kept it below even 30% :o And I've still got it on right now.. I can notice a bit of a power drop but its ok for me because Ive got some to spare
As for the tires, TURBO had some Super Swamper TSL radials, 32x12.5, and about 10% left. The side nobs are ok, but the centers on those things are all but down to a slick.
If your tires have decend tread left, I think you will be ok, especially if you can afford to air down to under 7psi or so without blowing a bead.
