slap in the face

i was browsin my local craigslist and found something that ruined my day.
there are a few companys out there sellin toyota rear disc brake brackets, and all of them are different.
sky uses chevy stuff, so does allpro and trail gear.
daves offroad has his own style of the all toyota setup, and muchado has a welded together all toyota design too.  but now some one is copyin my exact desing, and undercuttin me.  i know there isnt anything i can do about it, but its just a slap in the face.

:edit: i wonder if someone bought them from you and coppied them. I agree it is a slap in the face.


My dad bought a set of full width shackles from sky and I took them to my work and made me a set. But i didnt make a whole bunch and try and sell them. I could of but thats wrong. Or am did I do something wrong?

I'd try to shoot for a patent on it.  Even in "patent pending" status, doesn't that protect your work?


Thats definitely shady to try to sell your design for profit.
