How's it going all?  I recently came across an 84 pickup for sale and had to have it.  Paid 600 bucks for it, and all I had to do to it was put in a new U-joint.  Has a 4" lift and 31"  BFG All-terrains. She is gonna need lots of love for sure, but for the most part it's in pretty decent shape.  Has 247,000 on the odometer, and runs like a champ.  I live in Bakersfield and took her down to Hungry Valley for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it.  I'm a mechanic by trade, so everything I plan on doing myself.

That thing was a total snag man. Already had the lift and tires on it.  Tires were at about 80% too.  I worked for a towing company for a while and we ended up impounding it.  Nobody came to pick it up, so I bought it.  Made a deal with one of the owners and told her I'd buy it for 600 bucks.  I do have my work cut out though.  No a/c and no power steering.  Gonna be rough in the summertime.

I tried to score one from the DMV that said "IFS SUX" but it was deemed too offensive.  Maybe next time I'll try and get one that says DMV SUX and see how they like it.
