RUF with push pull?
« on: Apr 29, 2010, 10:18:22 AM »
ya i am lookin for a cheap steering option for a cheap 85 dd truck nothing intens or hard core, just back and forth, i wanna run rears up front but dont wannna buy hysteer i know everyone on here hates the Y arm mod but its simple and easy, but is the push pull design usable on the RUF setup? i am thinkin cheap on this truck so keep that in mind... and yes i do expect u will all roast me for this!

yes you can do it but you have to shorten the draglink unless you want to build a hanger to keep the axle in the same spot..which kind of defeats the purpose of RUF.. the Y arm mod is not as bad as all the engineers on here say it is. you MUST DO IT CORRECTLY though.
