I have been reading posts on this forum a couple years now learning all I can about building a crawler Marlin style. I finally am ready to start posting and this is the first reply I get. I thought this was a friendly forum. What happened to the welcome to marlin posts? I need 11 posts to unlock certain features so I got 11 posts. I don't make the rules, I just break them.

Welcome to the forum.  :welcome:  Are you planning on getting a rig? What are you thinking of starting out with?

Your funny, your at 13 and I don't see any pics, so 13 garbage posts and counting.

Welcome to Marlin, lets hear about a build or something.

Believe me if i had a rig I would be posting pics. I will make a wish list:

I would like a first gen 4 runner so I can haul the family to the hills. I want to run full width probably a 60 front 5:38's and ARB, and a 14 bolt full floater in the rear w/ a detroit it will not be my DD. I want at least 39.5 irocks. Eventually linked up but probably have to start with chevy 63's and RUF. Dual cases 4.7 in the rear. I guess this will work for starters. But what I really want is $$$$ so I can start the project. Till then I will just have to keep wishing and learning. This forum is full of great info.

Just curious. if you don't yet have a rig, how do you both reference "87" and Runner?  :dunno:

I had A red 87 4runner almost 3 years ago that was stock with 31 BFG's. That's when I started reading Marlin forums, and got interested in Toyota's. I wrecked it, BAD. Never got to start building it. I recently started saving for another rig to start building. I figure till I get enough money saved I can get some inspiration from the Marlin crew. My goal is to have something I can drive in MCR10.
