Turtle points disappearing?? Bigmike whats up?

OK, I really don't care about the turtle points, but why are mine disappearing?    Did I piss somebody off?  I know that you can give/take them.  But why would anybody want to go and just take them from certain people.  I know that there are a handful of us that have posted up about this before already.  Unless it's a programming issue.  

I know there are several posts on this.

I'd really like to see Mike to just make the turtle thing just disappear, especially if the turtle game isn't gonna come back.

Lotta good that did, I was at 666 for about 2 minutes and someone took another one.    I want the turtle game back too, I sucked at it so all my points were given by members not from the game..

Yeah I was wondering what was up with that. I had 52, and then didn't really log on for a couple weeks and came back and I was at 0. I don't really care but it was surprising, considering I had been sitting on 52 points for years lol

i was wondering this too, there are a few i know that are getting hella points jacked, and certin people gaining points freakishly fast. I had 8 like 3 weeks ago now im -60. I know I pissed in someones cherios but that was awhile ago now, then i log one a week after the post and bam points droppin fast.

when I joined marlin i think the turtle game had just stopped. Then came back not that long ago then went away real quick. I wasnt fast enough tho.

The last round of turtle hunting was tainted.  I'd be checking pm's or editing my profile, see a turtle and click on it and get a message that somebody else beat me to it.  This happened all the time and I always got the same message.

Three months ago I was at 150 pts.  I had 50 when I started this post.  I haven't been on in two days and I've lost 8 since.


I'm not sure, but I'm leaning towards maybe a programming issue.  Because I found some old user that hasn't been on for years, and tried to take away points to see what happened.  It will only let you "take" a few points in a certain time frame.  If not, there are a ton of people out there taking points like mad.

I have to wonder who even concerns themselves with taking points away from others.  If somebody really goes above and beyond and gives a nice clear explanation of something, maybe with some links, pictures, etc., absolutely I give them a point.  But otherwise, who does that?  Is somebody going around reading posts going "I like you"..."I hate you"..."I like you"..."I hate you"?
