yea thats the link. I thought important. Honestly I only did a minimal search. And i had never seen it so felt others might not have. I still can't find it.

So ill stat:  I feel the big message is to read your chemicals even the ones you've been using for years because you don't remember what they say

I don't think it hurts to repost a safety thing like this.  This, as the article says, is something that I think a lot of people take for granted, and we don't even think about it. 

We actually had a call on an older gentleman not long ago who died due to a similar scenario.  He was working in his garage with no ventilation, and wound up mixing some chemicals (woodworking, but same concept) and passed out, stopped breathing, and went into cardiac arrest. 

The risk is there, so be smart about it.

That would suck, he got real lucky. I've always used carb cleaner over any other solvents. Look for the ones that have inert ingredients.

Well then.  That will make me think twice about welding two cans of break cleaner together...  Scary stuff.

Wow, I hadn't seen that one before. Phosgene is really nasty stuff, and it was used in WWI, and killed thousands. That dude is really lucky to be alive, and have gotten out of it with as little damage as he did. Hope everyone heeds his warnings. Some would argue that the lucky ones are the dead ones...the longterm consequences can be devastating.
