new to the board and toyotas in general.  i have a 1978 chinook, basically stock except for the engine, still has the original 20r but totally rebuilt. 

trans is going out, so thats what brought me here, looking to put in a l52 or w56....

thoughts of putting the camper shell on a 4x4 chassis are on my mind as well as modifing the 2 wheel drive suspension that is on it.

so if you have a l52 or w56 (top shift i have to assume) let me know!
