ok I have a 91 4runner v6 3.0 and a solid front sas the t case part of the driveline doesnot have enough movement to compensate for the lift and it has a diffrent bolt pattern than a older 80,s driveline does how do i fix this, other than buying a 400$  :turtle:  drivline.

find an older style drive shaft (they have more clearance in the u joints) take it apart clamp the flanges to your t case and dif flange  and redrill the dif and t case to fit the bolt pattern.  If you dont have enough slip spline after that build a square tube drive line for it.   belive it or not you can get more angle out of it if you remove the double cardone from the shaft but by doing this you may get some vibration. but then again it is the front shaft so you most likely wont be using it at high speed. or clearance the yokes on the shaft you have with a diegrinder and a bur bit if you only need a little more angle. Hope that helps.

Ok you kinda weren't specific But I believe your saying that your driveshaft doesnt have enough slip corret?

If that is what your saying than you want to run a square shaft use reciever tubing as you would for a trailer hitch on a truck. If you aren't able to afford a long slip that is. If you are check out tg theres hold up its just the slip for 200 you build it to spec.

Also if you are talking about the cv joint not being able to drop enough... welll lower the truck because thats insane. I have a little over 2ft of drop like my front pass tire is completly out of the wheel well and im stuff on 42s and mine doesnt bind.

as for the binding problem. i know the solid axle cvs have more travel but you can grind the ifs ones out and get more travel. you honestly shouldnt have to and should be able to use your stock ifs driveshaft and build it into a square one. If not buy tripple drilled flanges. I wouldnt tell someone to drill out the flange because it usually makes them weak because the holes are always close to the edge compaired to the right flange.

Best cure would be a square ds setup for the fronts travel issue, and I usually just drill my flanges myself.

i'm going to need a  rear slipyoke off of a 1991-1996 runner v6 to do the square drive, just cant get enough angle out of the stock cardan that was on it and an older cv  wont work cause it has a different bolt pattern on the flange than mine.

yeah thats what im sayin... What lift do you have are you timing your u joints so there not binding eachother up. By this I mean making sure that they both move the same way as the driveline spins because if not it will bind but your runner has to be a straight monster for it to not travel enough.....

tear the cv on your shaft apart and remove some of the material around the center ball, this will allow it to have MUCH more droop
