My 83 100% factory, has 31's and aluminum wheels on it now but that's it.

I swapped in the square lights off an 83

Hey thanks, only it's not so nice to anybody but a true yota fan.  I get $500 offers about twice a week on it and the wife refuses to ride in it, my kid loves it and calls it "The fun machine" because it creates fun where ever we take it.  I will never sell it, came close but glad I didnt.

Next time I'm at my folks house I'll snap a pic of my dads 1981 22r 4x4. He bought it bran new from the dealer. And sais he'll never sell it.
SAS 89 p/u 3.0 5speed, bobbed, locked, ready to play in the rocks. or wherever the pavement ends :)

wow $200 is a great deal... I want to get my hands on another one long bed would be nice... or even just a cab I have an 84 solid axle frame long bed

thank you 4x4yota, this is my 2nd 1st gen long bed and it is by far the my fave body style my dads 1st gen in the background 3rz in it with full marlin suspension and bellhousing, i hope mine turns out as nice as his!!! and the only thing wrong with 7.5" width is i like a dished look...

Mine from a few years back with the old "roll bar" :shudder: .  It's still on stock suspension, just has 33s.

how many of you are daily driving your 1st gens? that is my plan on my i wanna 3rz in it bad, i would love to drive it from my dads in oregon to my place in texas while i am stationed here then drive it back to oregon when i get out!

Me and my dad dd our first gens.  My mom drove mine to work today and said she saw two guys in a 2wd stare when she drove by an intersection.    8)
