Check out mojave heaters, they make compact heaters you could put in if your wanting defrost.

79-83 2wd or 4wd doors will work.

sorry mate i actually picked up some 81 2wd doors that are gloss black and im liking the way they look with my flat body, thanks for the offer though! i've got some progress i just havent taken pictures yet probably next week ill get some news ones in here.

Finally an update havent had alot of truck time these last few weeks. got a truck box for free now i just have to figure out how i want it mounted! let me know what you guys think??

Just to let you know if you removed your heater core and box then you either dont have a heater or you can relocate it. I am guessing your truck doesnt ac so just relocate it to where the ac blower box mounts. Then extend your heater hoses to it. It will work fine there but you will roast your passenger.

Im just going to get rid of that unsightly heater core and get a small mojave or something similar. I can deal with no ac or heat in the mean time.
BTW clutch is on and i will hopefully be getting the engine back in next week.

83 pickup, 4.88s, chevys in rear, RUF, Dual Transfers, flat belly, 3RZ swap, disc brake x4, rollin on 36" irocs

Finally found some time to put the engine back in. I'm sure you guys already know but installing an engine solo SUCKS! here are some more crappy cell phone pictures of the progress I also found a pair of sweet black buckets! more to come soon guys!

Well been a long time.. I got surgery on my shoulder and had no movement for 6 weeks, I finally started PT and can start to work on the truck again!!!! :yikes: 2 weeks till winter we'll see if I can get it running asap!
