No power to fuel pump??
« on: Dec 06, 2004, 06:15:39 PM »
i just swapped motors from a 20r to a 22r and for some reason i now have no power to my fuel pump. i am not running a pump on the side of the engine block, just one in the tank i think. it worked fine before the swap but now nothing. if i run power directly to the pump it pumps fine, but nothing when i turn the key. anybody have any idea what could be wrong? i took apart the fuel pump relay and it looked fine. anything else i can check? please help. thanks, aaron

thats a really good idea, i think ill try that.  did you run a fuse between the battery and the switch?  i like the whole theft deterrent idea, had one truck stolen already.  thanks for the advice!
