What fuel pump works for a 22re with a fuel cell?

I am putting a fuel cell on a 85 yota with efi and am wondering what the best fuel pump would be? Modify the old sender and pump to work in the fuel cell or switch to an inline? I am leaning toward an inline but don't know which to use. I don't want to spend the money on a racing pump that flows 200 gallons per hour. The stock Toyota pump is 60 GPH and has a 70 psi shut off. I know there are a lot of people who run 22re's and fuel cells, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I used a 1982 Toyota Celica fuel pump on "Bender". It's one of the cheaper units to use but you'll have to modify to banjo fuel line fitting's. I couldn't find a 10mm fine thread fitting the pump requires so I reconfigured it to something else that is common. Find a Hydraulic hose making shop and make up new lines - reuse your banjo fitting at the filter. Used this for over a year now.

A Ford V8 pump will work fine. And you can mount it anywhere. Don't remember the part number. But, I'll get later today for you.

I called the parts store and a carter pump is in stock for 118$.

Just use the high pressure pump off a for econoline or just about any early injected ford 4.9 or 5.8..most of those rigs came with two pumps,,a feed pump in the tank and a high pressue on the frame rail,,thats the one you want..   89-95 around in there..They come with a isolater and mounting bracket with cool ribber mounde..suoer simple,,I get them for cheap..Benny if ya need one hit me up..I can get it for about half the cost here in tigard from ford....

one of the ford pumps should be way cheaper than a celica pump

I want to run the celica pump but I can't figure out the year for the inline pump. All I found at the dealership was the in tank pump that is exactly like the truck pump that I already have in my tank. Or if anybody knows what pump Marlin's Formula Toy has on it, I think that is from a celica. Maybe I will post over there too.
