New member from So Cal

Hi everyone, my name is Tom, I live in Southern California, and I am new to this forum but not to wheeling. I have owned a 1990 Ranger 2WD Pre Runner that was caged out with extended I Beams and long travel suspension that I have had my high speed desert fun with and then an 07 FJ Cruiser 4x4 lifted 3 inches on an OME lift and 33 inch BFGs that I had the opportunity to learn to how wheel and crawl in. Unfortunately, I was recently laid off from work due to the economy and I was forced to trade in my beloved FJ for something more economical . I have saved up a little cash and I am looking at getting a decent rig to keep my one true passion alive. If anyone could help me out that would be awesome! I am looking for a 4x4 rig that can be daily driven with an automatic tranny that is at least fairly built up and can handle most trails. The less expensive, the better (under $4,500). I am willing to travel outside of my area to Northern California, Washington, Vegas, and maybe even Arizona if it is worth it. I know that I may be asking for too much, but I figured I would give it a try. I also understand the advantages of a manual transmission but I would greatly prefer automatic, unless the deal is too good to pass up. I look forward to learning from you all and hopefully getting to meet some of you along the way as well. I love wheeling, camping, drinking Patron, darts, billiards, poker (not that good though), video games, smoking hookah, working on trucks and fabricating new parts for them, country and rock music, and hanging out with good people.
