I know a good bit about the truck and looking for low gearing in the trans and transfer case. axles will come later. but yea if anyone can lead me in the right direction im sure i can build a different rig that looks down right sexy! lol :beerchug:

The question is, how far are you willing to go?  And what are your abilities?

Here is a good read on doing a SAS on a Amigo.  It's alot of reading but you can see what is involved, especially when you have to create your own kit.

My best advice would be to sell off the Max, and find a Toyota.  And then all the stuff is ready for you.  No butcher jobs, or "OH Crap what am I gonna do now?" moments!  I'm not dissing FFC's (Justina's) Amigo, since it's been through the con in stock form, but they have done alot to get it, redid some stuff, and they still aren't done with it.

I don't know where you live, but full widths on a MAX, for running around town.  You might have some issues with the local police.  Cause those tires are gonna be outside the fenders fo shure!!

im sayin i live in greenville, sc and the police love the cj they dont bother me even ridin around without a tag! lol but yea get alot of looks so still gotta take it easy but it will pull the front wheels up with 4.56 r&p and a lead foot aired up. that took 6months to build cut it in half behind the doors bought some dom tubing and went to town when i had a chance.the jeep means everything to me because my friend shane that did alot of the welding and showed me how to notch and bend tubing has passed away from a motorcycle accident so i will never let it go for anything.it takes some abuse like a champ!
