new to marlin with a 91 wrapped pickup

hey i'm johnny.
i'm new to marlin but i've had the yota for a year now and i've been over at yotatech for a little while too.
well i'm about to start my 2rz swap. so i decided that i would go ahead and join since i've been reading the loads of info on the site about the swap for the past week and i'm hoping i'm not getting myself in too deep. lol

a little about the truck its a 91 toyota pickup that is realtree wrapped, has black steel wheels, 31 BFG's, a header, Porsche 944 muffler, new motor- 30,000 miles with piston slap

the guy i bought it from paid 600 for the kit and he did a great job putting it on but i've read about people paying 1500-2500 installed. A guy in town has a z71 wrapped and he said he paid 1500 and it looks like they just slapped the 4x8 sheets on.

but i only paid 2500 for the whole truck so i think i did pretty good except for the fact i now have to put a motor in it

yea that sucks, how many miles did you get out of the existing motor?

i personally got like 7-8k out of it, so it had right around 35-40k miles on it (i have the bill and it wasn't a cheap motor either). After i bought the truck i have only heard bad things about the shop the motor came from. the shop is closed now and a guy that worked there has his own shop and i know someone who just blew up his 3rd warrantied motor from him. they all lasted around 1500-3000 miles before they blew.
