i have  1985 toyota truck 22re engine with bad w56 tranny. I found a 1992 4 runner with 6cly engine ,  r150f top shift tranny  in good shape.  Will this bolt right up to  my 1985, and, or what  would  i have to do to make it work?

it will only bolt up to a 22r or re if you use a bell housing from a r151 (turbo bell housing) 4x2 or 4x4 they are the same.  you will also have to do drive shaft mods.  the v6 trany has a tcase that is a chain drive, if you want to keep your gear drive tcase you will need an adapter for that also.
