tranny swap ????

I am doing the infamous auto 5sp swap and pulled the auto out of my 85 yesterday, there is a computer box in front of the tranny and TC shifters that was under the bezel is this the engine computer or is it just for the tranny? can I just get rid of it and if not what do I do with it after I get the 5sp in there is not a bezel to cover it now.  :dunno:  :help:

That is the tranny computer.  I disconected and removed mine when I swapped out my auto without any problems.

im in the middle of my swap also i have a 91 and a 94 w56 is going in i have a few qestions... do i need to swap ecu's  i know i can get rid of the shift-lock ecu by the shifter.  if i dont swap ecu's what wires do i splice on the nuetral safety switch.  also is there a way to reuse the clutch safety swithc and bypass switch  and finally what kind of floor modifications did you need
