hey all. kinda new here. been reading the forums for a while now. I am from fresno. here are some specs on my truck. 1983 toyota short bed p/u. 5" marlin trail flex lift, high cross over, dual ultimate crawler transfer cases, L-52 HD transmission, 4.88 with a detroit in the rear.  I am not at all mechanically inclined so all work was done at Marlins shop.

My plans: regear to 5.29 with an ARB up front
              complete exo. ( I am actually gonna learn to weld myself)
              Chromolly front axles
              eventual engine swap ( i want fuel injection)
              And I am sure there will be more i want but for now thats a good start

I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to.

  to marlin.    sounds like you are ready with a plan.   as soon as you get the 11 post put some pics up of your rig.   good luck with the build.

i will be posting pics asap... i wish i had some build pics. i am going to be learning to build my own rig from now on. So i am going to be asking a lot of questions. So far all mods on my rig have been done at Marlins shop. But i gots to learn somehow!
