Nah, I got the whole truck for real cheap, parted out everything I didn't need and then hacked in 3/4. It's all history from there.

Funny you should mention that. I have been pulled over for JUST that. I redrilled the mounting holes higher and thats that. The cop was nice, he said "just fix it"  "yes officer, I'll do that as soon as I get home"  I did too.

It would if I had left it there. I took it out though.

can you explain how you wired the trailer and why you needed 2 separate plugs on your truck?

most likely because Toyota have an independent turn signal bulb... most American truck's blinkers are integrated in with the break lights... i drew up a wiring diagram for mine but it's over at my buddy's house where the trailer is... can post a pic later

his looks like he's got a 6 pin on the left and a 7 pin on the right

yes, on the one i built... it still has the gas tank works perfect....
even better would be a fuel injected tank, could use the fuel pump that's in the tank already.
but when i went to put my bed on my turbo truck( http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=76098.0 ), the bed wouldn't fit...Mainly i think the problem was I'm running dual fuel injected tanks out of 2nd gen Turbo trucks witch are taller and longer, and the one on the driver's side is turned around backwards, and the bulge in the top of the tank is too far forward...and sense i am totally against a body lift... that's the bed we made the trailer out of.

"Looks good, but is it legal to run a vehicle axle under a trailer in Arizona.  I know here in CA it's not."

Can you supply the VC number for this claim??

Thanks
