My 85 Gets New Skin, Bumper, and Motor...

The exterior of the truck is being painted with Line-X (black) and the inside of bed will be Red. The motor is going from the 22r to a new 2.7EFI stroker motor, and the bumper of course is the Marlin Crawler front bumper with stinger...

so you are using bed liner for paint? isnt that really heavy?

Yeah it will put some weight on the truck....but the yota's are so lightweight that I'm not too worried about it..

It did bring up some concerns but the durability of the bed-liner is unbeatable

I had a cheby that was tottaly line-xed (had a friend who gave me a great deal) and the 6cyl still threw it through the mud like crazy

how much does that cost to use line x on the whole truck, am intersted in doing mine

This guy who is doing it is really hooking me up...He said $1900 for it all....he also did the inside of the cab about a year before.

well you got to think a bed costs about $400 depending on where you are and there is very minimual amount of masking. unless you remove all the windows, mirrors,trim, ect... it is going to cost. I am going to do the inside of mine with hurculiner I will let you know how it turns out.

I like the inside of mine. It make cleaning really easy and you don't have to worry about rust inside the cab.

one downfall is if you regret it its nearly impossible to get it off lol. my friend bought a runner that had it and it was super hard to get off but it does last and doesnt chip or anything so its pretty cool just different lol.
