:headscratch:  center of both heads ??  thats weird.  looks like the headgasket had been leaking

um... its a V6 and there are 12 valves and..... :dunno:
MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT I HAVE NOTHING USEFUL TO OFFER THIS FORUM  :moon:

or is it THAT black??   is it burnt oil buildup??   if it is, you have bad rings

Rings are slowly wearing out on every one but the top picture, last cylinder.  I don't see any obvious signs of a gasket leak between the individual cylinders. 

This happens over time to all high-mileage engines.  You can either fix the one cylinder and get along for another 50K miles or more as-is(most likely), or do a complete rebuild.  Or, just swap in another more modern engine if you have the money.
