Just bought a canon sx30is, haven't taken any pics but it's the most expensive camera I've ever owned. Walked in best buy with $600.00 and left with $1.57 and a shopping bag lol. I hope it's a good one. I read reviews and watched YouTube videos on it, seemed like a good deal. I can't wait to post pics and learn all it can do!

Awesome Kyle!

As I type, I'm getting ready to pack things and heading up to Seattle tomorrow, for a few days with the family.
List of places we are gonna go:

I agree.. I went there a few weeks ago and left my camera in my car and we took a friends car instead, so, I didnt get any photos. I was pissed. I did go to the locks the day before and got a few cool photos. The locks are pretty sweet......

Off topic, but you should go walk around the dock down the road from the locks where the Deadliest Catch boats all stay at. Theres a pretty sweet fishermen memorial. Oh, and its actually pretty much the only place in Seattle that had free parking too!
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

Some shots from the other day.  Went to Portland and decided to do the Columbia Gorge Historic hwy, and the falls.  And then ended up at Bonneville Dam.

Vista House

Some of the falls

Bonneville Dam

A random pic of my youngest son

I really need to get in tune with my camera.  It seems I will do really good for a while, then I don't take pictures for a while, and then I can't get it to do crap.  That and most of the time, I'm trying to get pictures and the wife and kids are yelling at me to let's go!!  Which is very frustrating.

Love those Columbia River pics, Cheesie! Brings back memories of many trips through there back in the late Sixties.  :beerchug:

From last week.

I also got to use a friends 50D with a 18-135mm. I liked it but I didn't like the controls. Fast burst rates :)

Just a 3 bracket handheld shot processed in Photomatix, converted to jpeg and some contrast/saturation adjustments in CS3.
