High Lakes Anyone?

  Tryin to get some people who arent affraid to wheel there junk to head up to the High Lakes next weekend.  Cant ever get anyone to go up anymore everyones and wants to wait for the "snow".

thats because there is no "wheeling" in the highlakes. the gnarest thing up there can be beat on 35s open/open.  the snow on the other hand is some of the sickest around. . . .cant wait for the snow this year.

the highlakes is still a fun ride, sure the wheelin isnt extreme but is a fun way to spend a day, hey kc did you hear that saddle opened back up? i definately wanna hit it up soon, my rig is under construction but the wifes runner is down to go

I would love to see you drive up morris or even saddle with 35's and no lockers....... your an idiot if you think you can.  Sure I agree there isnt any EXTREME crawlin but I dont feel like drving hours away for a day run or for a couple days wheelin the High Lakes is a half hour drive from where I live and it costs me about 40 bucks a trip.

And yeah it was peter dents birthday yesterday and a bunch of us went back to saddle and morris. Wait till you see the great wall of saddle friends of the high lakes built... haha its gnarley

Hopfully I can talk the second half into going up saturday if not then it'll be sunday

easy now, i was just givin you some .  we were up there last night and partied with everyone at spring valley.  i would have had more fun with my truck for sure.  will probably go up there for a weekend once i get my 4.7s back in.

No worries man I think I met you last night im the dude runnin the rockers its just I dont got the money to go towin my s*** around for better wheelin. The high lakes has some gnarly wheelin its just all off the road which is a no go sucks but rules are rules.

i would like to go up there with someone who knows where the "real" trails are.  Hans is always talking about some good places.

and if i met you last night well have to meet again cause i was destroyed and everything was a blur of talking and whiskey drinking. . . .i was in the superduty that was 5 different colors haha.

hans could show you some lines on morris that would excite you, hes been all over these mountains, in every condition and every line, i see a different line everytime im with him, hes a bad ass driver props to hank

Yeah theres some crazy trails not to many ppl know about up there I just wish it was cool to  off the road... sooo many sick lines I see but cant try.  Sucks 

Yeah Hank knows about some gnarly spots up there.  I'll see if he wants to go up next weekend.

Went back to morris last night and on the way out I bent my rear housing and broke a shaft.... the back end jumped up in the air and came down right on a rock rattled the brain pretty good.    Got another axle on the way so I should be ready for sunday.

Oh and Ive never personally met thomas but im pretty sure he is the guy who wheeled with my 4runner before i owned it, Thomas if your reading this it was the black 84 runner on 37's I actually think you sent me pics of it in the snow, but anyways, looks like itll be a cool group for sunday, I guess if i dont chicken out ill be there...in the mini mobber, but what the hell are you going to be doing the next few hours, Im fixing the house right now...Or trying to.
