that might help lol. ok so when i first start it, it runs fine then the choke kicks off and it still runs fine... but sometime ill be driving it and i let the clutch out to coast or whatever the engine just dies and i have to floor it to make it start up again. but then sometimes it will run fine..  :dunno: its really weird.

i was thinking fuel pump to

Should be on the passenger side of the carb and have 1 wire clipped to it.  Check all the connections you can as well as the fuses, you may be making partial contact sometimes, then it loses contact momentarily.  Without seeing it happen or having a lot more in depth detail, it's really hard to diagnose problems like this without being there.

Have you figured it out?   Mine is doing the same thing, checked the usual stuff like Vacuum leaks, carb gaskets, egr.....still does it, but only when I am driving it, starts and idles fine when I am trying to diagnose the problem but as soon as I drive it and stop at an intersection it stalls.

On the passenger side of carb . If you remove air cleaner you can see it better solenoid has wires coming out the back ! Follow the wires 2 the connection unplug it and unscrew the solenoid
