Maxxis Creepy Crawler
« on: Jul 19, 2009, 07:20:19 PM »
I was lookin at an issue of 4WD Toyota Owner I just got and saw a tire test they did on the Maxxis Creepy Crawlers. They look pretty sick. Anyone runnin these tires? From the review they are supposed to be awesome tires.

I have them. They grip well for a non sticky and are tough as nails. The sidewalls are much tougher than a goodyear mtr and Bfg krawler but they( Atleast the 37"s) run a little small. I have a set of sticky krawlers and compare the 2.

I also have the radial treps.  I am happy with them so far.  Although I havent even aired down yet.  Heading to CO on friday so we will see how they do.  I have about 300 highway miles on them so far.  They are quiet and ride better than my Pro Comp muds did.

ok am not a fan of maxxis anymore lol. I saw at least four to five tires get slashed and punctured at the XRRA event here in Cortez

the others ran boggers, irok's, the new mtr's, bfgs, and pitbulls, and all of those did not get slashed or punctured, just my 2cents. on what I saw today.

Surprising, i was hard on my maxxis cc and they did great, my dads mtr's got sliced on our second trip and i am a little worried about my bfg krawlers since i have seen so many of those sliced wide open.

ltbs suck ass in the snow!

Creepy Crawlers look way badass and everybody i've evr seen/talked to with them said they love them. I haven't heard how they do in the snow though.

Nope you can't, they stopped making the old MT/R's. Kind of a bummer but the new ones look pretty badass in person.

how much are they? just out of curiosity. i just thought it was funny to see them get punctured here in the southwest. but i guess every tire does get cut and every tire does slip, but the boggers, tsls, toyo mt, bfgs, goodyear, etc, never got cut, so who knows?

Is this price of their website? If so check badboytires.com and get their price. Thats where i bought my 37" creepy's and its still a expensive tire but no where near $559. I think my tires with shipping was like 340-370 per tire but no tax.
