Im gonna be running f150's
well see
Ive ran chevys before and liked them except for the length and hop

ive had f-150 for 5 years and love them, my wifes rig has the chevies and i hate them...... they are too long and sloppy on road, they definately need a trac bar, f-150s are just long enough and flex great  :twocents:

they are made in india by betts, an american company, with strict quality control standards, these are not made in india with india's quality control standards

MCI, please correct me, and delete this post, if i am wrong

You are wrong . They are made in the U.S. by Betts spring company in San Leandro , California . They are only assembled in India .

and if im not misinformed deaaver makes marlin and alpro springs i think they make trail gear springs as well. this is something i heard awhile back. i cant back it with any real knowlege just hear say.

Your information is wrong . Deaver manufactures their own springs , I've actually been to their facility years ago . They do not make springs for the other companies you mentioned . All-Pro and Marlin springs are made by a company called Betts Spring Company that is located in San Leandro , California . Trail Gear has their springs manufactured elsewhere .

This amazes me!  How can it possibly be cost effective to make the leafs here in the USA and then ship them all the way to India to "assemble" them!?  I would assume the majority of them then have to be shipped BACK to the USA to be sold?  Weird world we live in....

I run S-10 rear springs with the 3rd leaf out of a toyota rear pack, I got some axle wrap issues to take care of, maybe I can add some more leafs in with it to try and combat the axle wrap without taking the flex away, They cost me total of $50 bucks to have the bushings taken out and new bushings out of a 3rd gen rear spring.

My Marlin 4" rear springs say "Made in India" right on them. When i asked MC about this i was told that the steel comes from Betts but is shipped, Made and assembled in India. And then shipped back. Either way they flex good, but it would be nice if they were made and assembled hear. I know it can be done since my old alcans were made here and were right around the same price as marlins.
