I swap out driving a truck with my boss...same truck (Dodge 2500 CTD), same trailer, same load...the digital read out ( I know they're not exact) says he gets 13.8 mpg and I get 16.9 mpg. The difference? He's constantly on and off the accelerator and I am silky smooth, steady as a rock.

Get all terrain tires, use the max psi you can do a tune up be steady on the throttle and dont go above 2750 rpms. I have a v6, motor is all stock DO NOT GET A KN AIR FILTER. Mine runs better and I get better mpg with a stock paper filter and it filters better too.  I have 35s it weighs 4500 pounds 529 gears rear locker and last time i did my mpg i got 19.8 on the freeway
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

i have 33 all terrains, they arent at full psi i dont think. i never really get past 2500 rpms unless i need to. i've found out that different gas companies have better gas that gets more miles like race trac for me cause they dont put as much ethenol in it i think. i think i get around 18 or so. i was just wonderin if there was anything else i could do
