got a 85 efi i am getting fire but no fuel i can spray ether in intake (small amount) it will crank till it burns it up do u think filter or fuel pump should u be able to hear the pump turn on or u think it could be something else any help would be nice thanks

i would start with the cheap and easy.. relays and fuses. if the fuel filter hasn't been replaced in a long time that wont hurt to change.

check the efi main relay at the driver side kick panel. When you turn the key you should hear a click, if you don't change it. Hope that helps.

i had the same issues with my 85 4runner. i changed the fuel pump and afm and it seems to run fine. but i still need to change the relay that turns the fuel pump on because some times it doesn't like to stay on.

You may also want to check you throttle positioning sensor.
