so i thought after a LONG time of talking and chating and calling i have kinda thought
of what i want to do to this thing. i have an 85 runner non sr5. i got it and it had the 4.7 kit and a set of nice sliders on it. well since i have had it i got a new set of 31/10.50/15 on it. put in a dual stereo (the one that was in it someone decided they needed the face more than i did) i was using it as my dd. i painted it od green and the top is black with WWII emblums. and i built a ft bumper for it. well i was driving is across the country and the rod let go and went through the block. well needless to say it is no longer my dd. so now i can start working on it. these are my plans (for now) i am going to get marlins 5" kit and run 38s, 5.29 gears, duals, smooth belly (maybe), longfields, 147hp kit from lc for the new 22re, full cage (interior i think
), spare tire rack on the back and i have an idea for a trailer. what do you think about the list so far? it is going to be slow going dew to me being in a studio appt. i will give updates as we go. oh yes
i forgot
i am picking up a 90 runner for 300 and the only thing wrong with it is it has bad ft brakes and 150k on the 22re. its clean and runs really well. i am tring to decide to fix it and give it to the wife or tare it apart and take the engine and steering box and the seats and put them in the 85.
