Sweet Matt.  Looks like you guys are kickin ass.  I forgot to give you part of the exhaust, you probably won't need it.  It connects the header to the cat.  Let me know if your gonna need it, and I'll find a way to get it to ya.
Rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

You'll need it more than I will since you will be driving yours on the street more than I do!  Need a set of 39.5's?
http://www.tacomaterritory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134757  They are on 8 lug wheels but you could probably set them on CL.  The 39.5" Iroks are now selling for over $300/tire (used to be $275/tire).

I was checking those out I just don't think I can spend the money on them right now.  I wanna get this thing running strong and wheelin first.

couple more pics from last night.  man was it a pregnant dog trying to pull the head off with those ARP head studs.  We managed though  :willynilly:

with the head pulled

cleaned the head and put on the new head gasket

threw some paint on the valve cover and put that back on

Intake looks good!!  I should have done something like that rather than leaving it aluminum colored.

Thanks.  I figured I might as well clean and paint it while I had everything apart.   Been tryin to clean everything so far and hopefully keep it that way.   Not too shabby for only having black paint too.

got her all buttoned up.  tried to start it up for the first time yesterday but no luck.  I think the dizzy might be 180 out of phase so im gonna check that when I get back to work tomorrow.

I sent the injectors out to Rich over at Cruzin Performance.  I would definitely recommend using them.  Good Prices, Super Easy to deal with, great turn around on them.  He also posts your test results online showing the flow tests before and after.

back together!

here's a couple of the other projects going on at the house.  we rolled jareds truck out after he finished his duals/flatbelly and pushed mine in.

and we are in the process of rebuilding his brother josh's 22R which will hopefully be running on propane.  Here is his new LC head and valve cover paint job

Sweet Matt!  How's she run?  Always wanted to put new injectors in.

ran great driving it down to the jamboree this weekend  :beerchug:  the new injectors seem to have solved the old fuel pressure issue you were having as well so I dont have the fuel pump jumped anymore.

That's good to hear.  Had a great time at the Jambo,  Hopefully next year we'll both be drivin instead of ridin.  Although that ride in the rock wear buggy up V-notch was fawkin sick.
