This is my 86 4runner/truck
5 inch trail gear springs
cross over steering
trail gear long slip yoke
3 inch body lift
rubicon 3 inch shackles frt and rear
skyjacker 8000s shocks
39.5 boggers
5.29 gears v6 carriers welded
automatic tranny
header, 2 1/2 exhaust, flowmaster muffler, 4 inch tip
LC ENGINEERING CAM
rear disc brakes
hand controls

you have some type of wall under the rear window to the floor of the bed right? that is the bulkhead

What I did was cut the back off of a xtra cab. I used the back wall also. The back wall was a lil short so, I used some strips of sheet metal. The cab was short on the floor side. The back wall was fitted nice to the insides of the box. Welded the sheets and silicon sealant on the bottom part. I will get a pic of the set-up. The xtra cab is a differant height then the 4runner roof. We did some triming and made it fit. I never used any body filler because, I was not worried about car shows and the cab gets hit by trees. Looks just like the back of a truck. We had to put sheet metal on the insides of the box because, the 4runner uses fiber board sides. You can see the sides good in the mud pit pic.
