looks good bud and I like the simplicity of the sliders but dont you think they'd be more effective with the wider flair towards the rear? not knockin just my :twocents:

edit: you're probably going for more clearance/protection of the a pillar/ windshield frame?

it looks like the neighbor building them is going for a similair look to the original running boards.
I have seen pre-made versions like this, as well.

AaronB

got it moved to my house and my neighbor fabed up a crossmember, its just tacked for now.

You guys did a great job on that cross member / skidplate. Is it going to be removable so you can drop the tranny?

Thanks Mike, I am now in the process of getting back on this thing. I started tearing apart the front end and putting POR15 on everything I possibly can. I have to make an order from Marlin on brakes before I can finish the front axle though. Hopefully I can finish this before the end of summer  :crossed:

Thanks, Luckily my  neighbor knew how to install an arb, I finally did it myself but with his guidance, its actually way easier then I expected. I think im going to use the stock chevy a/c compressor running to a small tank of some kind, I haven't thought that far ahead yet  :headscratch:
