I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...
looks good bud and I like the simplicity of the sliders but dont you think they'd be more effective with the wider flair towards the rear? not knockin just my edit: you're probably going for more clearance/protection of the a pillar/ windshield frame?
have got the wiring on the 5.3 done? if not, let me know. the shop i use to work at does stand alone harness and ecu set ups on those and they are pretty cheap if your interested.
so did you try it the way i suggested?
oh that thing is gonna be sweet. i look forward to seein more of this build
Nice cruiser! I like it. I just sold my 70' to a friend. Just had no time to do anything with it. Now that this is your only project, Hopefully you can get er done. I'm curious though, why the sm420? Is it just cause you've got it? Great trans just kinda old school.
Good lookin' bead locks..
Keep the 420A) With a good clutch they are rock solid. Autos overheat, leak fluid, start fires, slip and die. B) The manual can be bump started, with the auto your dead in the water if the battery goes. C) If your motor stalls, you can use the starter to get you on flat ground, with the auto ur stuck
tryting to mount these pigs, pain in the ass with only 1 pry bar. I think ill try to take them to the tire store tomorrow, i dont know if they will mount them though because there beadlocks.
cool rig cant wait to see more.kyle
