i can drive it on the road if i really wanted  , But the tags are expired, driveline isn't balanced very good, and it needs a cv joint on the rear dl .. lots of little crap

Awesome, I LOVE how low your truck sits. I am in the process of lowering my 1st gen by about 1 to 1.5 inches

here is my daily driver. Our 15 year import laws in Canada kick ass and let us own and drive a whole pile of neat trucks....  i have had it for about a year and a half.. we also use it as our main exploring/geocaching and camping vehicle...

specs are:

-JDM 1985 bj-74 toyota landcruiser
-13bt turbo diesel with 5 speed and splitcase
-33x10.5 BFG tires
-factory pto winch

it is a toyota 13bt turbo diesel motor...  it is one of the many different "b series" engines that toyota has produced...  it produces 135 horsepower with about 235 foot pounds of torque...  i get about 24 mpg in the city and have seen as much as 26 on the highway.. not too bad for a 4000 pound truck..
