buddys 1979 toyota that he bought for 600 bucks pretty much its as stock as they come it has as far as we can tell like a 2" lift on it and some bald tsl's its gonna be a budget build but its gonna be fun.  he doesnt give a crap about the body so i dont see that stayin to straight for long

the plan mostly in order
rebuild motor (crank with bearings should be back in few days already sent it in)
weld the rear
tires. he is thinking 35 or 36's
move rears up front
new shackles front and rear
nice long rear springs aka 63's or something close
hysteer
front locker
dual cases
some tube work ( front bumper, sliders, exo)
"longfields" if he wins the lottery or robs a bank

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

so finally got the motor in and running had to wait cause he had to save up for a clutch. but in the mean time we got both the front and the rear welded up. so hopefully after a little of a break in we will have some wheelin pics up. he is really lookin forward to goin wheelin with it.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

– fortysixandtwo – sorry, i prefer marlin because aside from gittinit, no one is a know it all a hole

it was hit in the front at one time in its life. so it has a front end conversion on it. which in my opinion is pointless cause i like the round headlights better.  cant explain the front axle

:driving: spent yesterday messin around with it. pretty much all we had to do is put all the fuses in and redo one connection and everything works on it.  even added some fog lights to it and put some nice buckets into it

so we took it wheelin last night and it did pretty good. he needs some tires but other then that it did really good
