Ok, so I dont like the paint sample but ill post a pic tomorrow anyway. Thought id put this link in here for homemade twin sticks. My old shop teacher posted that and has them in his taco.

http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=823911

Tomorrow ill have some pictures of my twin stick pieces ready to be put together and maybe even get them welded up if i stop by the school.

Wow, forgot I had a thread... Put on some wheel spacers last night, then stupidity hit me like a ton of bricks. One turn  of the steering wheel to the left and I have major rubbing issues.

Trimming fenders today, probably start paint prep, slight chance of firewall tubbing soon.

Really need to find inexpensive high steer so I can get my springs under it.

Project Eyesore- Rubbage no bueno. Got questions
« Reply #20 on: Jul 20, 2010, 04:46:53 PM »
So I still have stock suspension but have 33s. My front springs are almost fubar.

The tire on the driver side rubs the firewall on turns.

My drivers side spring looks to be bent and the shackle is sitting basically a hair from the frame. My passenger side spring is flat, almost negative and the shackle is sittin almost 3/4" off the frame. This would be the cause of my major rubbing on the drivers side, correct?

Ok, some progress. 33s were rubbing bad so i went with some inexpensive "name brand" springs on the front temporarily and got my f150s in the rear finished today. So far sits 23" to the frame on 33s

Hows my shackle angle look?

Your farther ahead of the game than I.

But your shackle angle is a bit much.  Cause once you load it up, it's gonna get worse.  You might want to move it back an inch.  When you stuff that tire in the fender the shackle will have hit the frame long before the tire will hit bump stop.
