I saved these drawers from the dumpster/ scrap bin and made a nice rack for them...

once I find a space, it will get mounted on the wall and a bar across the bottom will be added for shop towels.

started out as a stock 85 4x4 lifted 3"

22re to 5vz-fe post-filter fuel line

cut the banjo end off the line, and used the 5vz-fe fitting

onboard air compressor bracket for 22re

uses a Sanden 508 compressor and bolts to the stock toyota a/c bracket

first custom bumper (horrible haha)

in-cab winch controller

riveted it to the cluster bezel. flick the switch to activate the rocker switch. LED lights up when the switch is active

power distribution block

countersunk the bolt heads

after smashing out all my markers and stuff with the tube bumper, i decided to build a solid one

got a bit too close with the edge of it after making a long pass with my welder haha

my mini-fab shop (after hours fabrication)

needed more flex capability in the front... sqtube driveshaft was needed

cut up an old, rotted out tank for the mounts

layed them down on the fuel cell i built a couple years ago

marked and cut out where i wanted them

cut out the old chevy pump mount and welded my toy one up

painted it (the bottom side turned out so much better though)

brake line dropper

installed

custom lift shackles. i used 2 pieces of C channel and my 40ton press to bend these

installed (did rears too)

needed rear caliper mounts for rear disc!

if i could do one thing different, i wouldnt put that big inspection cap on the diff... though i may have finally solved the leaking issue now...

traded one of my s10's for a doubler setup haha

started fabbing up a flat crossmember for my doubler setup

did a 3.4L swap recently

built a cowl hood instead of a body lift, or a hood scoop!

im working on a trans-brake now for an ebrake, cause with rear disc, i dont have an ebrake anymore...

ive done lots since, but i started making videos instead of taking pictures haha! enjoy!

needed rear caliper mounts for rear disc!

You need to start a build thread!  :talkingn:

Any more info on the rear disk setup? I've seen your posts on pirate before and always like how you did everything yourself

I have all the info you could want :) I did the IFS mod on the front. I used 98 rotors, 94 calipers, 88 hubs. For the rear, I used the 85 rotors, 85 calipers, and my custom brackets. Ill post detailed pictures and info in the build thread I'm going to start :)

Can't wait! I'm thinking about doing the ifs hub/taco brakes and rear disks with the s/a rotors and calipers too. How do you like the set up?

I freaking love the setup haha! I had a bit of an accident with my truck so I'm driving my brother's 4runner. Going back to drum brakes sucks big time! I need a prop valve though, cause the rear locks up before the fronts.

http://frontrangeoffroadfab.com/nfoscomm/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=136&osCsid=87f97c6a1ab4c0

nope... i didnt machine anything, or use any special parts... i built it with what i had laying around... i used 94 v6 calipers off a parts truck we had... they had the 4 big pistons inside the caliper. the solid axle calipers i used on the back have 2 big pistons and 2 small pistons in each caliper... the only tacoma parts i used were the rotors...

it was super easy to do this mod... i drilled out the steering knuckle stock caliper mounts to 1/2". on the calipers, i just used a 1/2" tap to tap the holes for a 1/2" bolt. i used grade 8 hardware. ill do a detailed writeup if anyone is interested :)

I hand forged the legs, tapered the ends and did the scrolls. Made the frame, and used marble tile for the top.

Sorry, thought it was cool because it saves alot of time on my part.  The brushes transmit power through a commutator ring.  If you need power through a moving object then this is the way to do it.  The rotating machinery uses a set of U shaped slip rings, and the brushes make contact inside that U transmitting power or whatever, through that contact.  Rings and brushes in last picture.  I'll take pics of the old set-up, so you can get an idea.
