tore apart the entire tranny to change shift rods. got it back together and something is binding up. matt and i are both stumped. hes going to do some research for me and maybe have a few people check it out or something. its gotta be something small because its SOOOO close to going back together and working properly. itll go back together but wnot shift into 5/rev

just got off the phone with pat. call him if you have any questions, we came up with a good plan (sorta) were going to work out details tomorrow mid day when i can find out any info (from matt) about my tranny.

im going to try to get off work around 2-3 and finish up my truck. I will be leaving tomorrow sometime. if my truck is done by 6 id like to leave by 8. matt and i (even if i ride with him) are goign to leave chico whenever if we can or cant get my truck done. i dont know about aj and james.

if anyone has a forward shift tranny just taking up space that lives somewhere close to chico hit me or matt up.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

GET IT!!!

-Matt-

also if anyone knows of any good online diagrams or instructions for a forward shift transmission post em here, we need all the help we can get. we did some tricky :pokinit: that should work fine (couse it went together all good, with the same measurements) but we are stumped on how to align the damn thing in the right sequence for everything to right when we put the last piece back on.

lilbuddy

matt and pat are awesome. hooked me up and got my truck together as i was at work

were going to be at my cabin. leaving in half an hr.

sunday there are a few people coming up (doof and rockcrawlintoy) and theyre going to be leaving chico at 8 ish.

cant wait!

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

i had a good time just cruising up saturday afternoon, too bad Fernando broke again, it took a lot longer to get him out that it would have for me to just drive out.  i wish i would have had Missy with me, i would have stayed the night.

i only have like 10 pics on my phone, and kyle has a few on his new blingin camera that he doesnt have a cord for ha, post up LB.

when did you leave? I drove home with no brake lights or flaps, I left them in the bed of my buddys truck. He would have loved to pull me over... :gap:

good trip had lots of fun, truck is floppin' Dialed. new fender trim its tits with new bums (no more bottoming out or f-in my springs up) new rear suspension is also wayyy sick. tons of flex handles great. only damage i got was breaking out my rear side window on my top, i was pretty much being a jerk and going up a tight squeeze on a pretty steep hill, side hilled it and tagged a tree, luckily i was able to slowly chug my way up the hill, couse if i would have had to back up the whole side of my truck would be completely gone.

edit-anyone know where i can get a new top for real cheap

I side hilled into a hole like around a tree in my xtra cab. Took out my whole bedside and xtra cab window. That was a shitty but fun day. lol

I pulled into fastrip eariler to let 1 chippy go by then down the hill another got me. As soon as I saw him I knew I was done. He told me that he usually lets people slide on mudflaps, but mine are "ridiculous". A$$hole! He let me off on the cracked windshield. the windshield cracked Sat night....

the only trouble I had this weekend was a blown bead. It happened in a muddy ditch so the tire had about a gallon of water in it. We ended up taking the tire off the rim and getting the water out before the ride home, which Im really glad I did that! Here some more pics.

After getting the bead put back and letting the highlift down, and truck moved alittle and almost can-opened my door. But never touched its about 1/4" away in the pic.   :yikes:
