well we went out 4 the afternoon to a little place called blue hole. so i got

and

hoping to have a good time well i was wrong. we got to blue hole and it stared to rain so we thought it would be wise to go and play in the mud. when the biggest truck is only on 33s open front and rear we should have known better and just waited for the rain to stop. but we all got stuck my Tacoma is the one with the camper shell its only on 32s its got a 3.4 but no rear locker

.the first time i got stuck i just got pulled out backward but it ripped of my skid plate and put a little hole in my radiator. then the 85 pick up that pulled me out got stuck so i had to pull him out and that when my truck got hot. the other tacoma got stuck so the 85 went around my truck which in the mean time i got stuck once more after putting water in it. so the 85 got to the tacoma but he did not have the power to get him out so we had him go and get help. but has he was driving away he got stuck. so we had to do some walking to get cell service we had a buddy in a jeep

on 42s come get us. not the best night for me or my wife but it all good got the truck home a little after 12am

Heard of Blue Hole, but I've actually heard of a few. We have one in South Western PA...Is this the same one you are referring to?

Dude Blue Hole is nasty this time of year lol I am not surprised you had problems!! You never went out there with us during high school? Gets wicked in the winter time. Is that Tim that went with you? I could have told you it would be hell getting out of there, that mud out there gets nasty.....

I must be a redneck because that looks like a great outing to me.this is why I like 4x4 more than muscle cars,almost every time I go wheelin I get butterflies as apposed to only once in a while in a fast car.

I could have sworn you went out there with us. We used to go all the time. Hell, we left grad night to go camp at Blue Hole. Good times. I haven't been out there in probably 2 years at least. Ryan tried to drive his bone stock samurai to that island when the water was at least that deep. Made it half way and then it got like 5 feet deep and it just sank and hydrolocked, I had to tow it all the way to his dads house dead with my Suburban. it was funny as hell. We should go camp out there this summer. Its cool but the water is really mineral rich because 100+ years ago it was where the hydro mining runoff collected and spilled over into the river below it (you think the road to blue hole is bad, good thing you didnt go all the way down to the river

).

Its safe now but you will notice the difference if you swim in it. Dries your skin out a little.

Yeah its a great spot to go in the summer but in the winter time it can be pretty hairy, lots of wicked clay mud and its a long way from anywhere. Its definitely fun but you gotta be ready to get stuck even in a built truck.

did you have some hot soup after getting home

its never fun at the time but as the stories revovlve around the camp fire it will bring a bigger and bigger smile on everyone's face - did anybody jump into that water?

no the water was way to cold. went right to bed when we got home
