Thankx guys.....  The color is Ultra Flat Krylon Tan  LOL !!!   By the way it's a pregnant dog  trying too paint and body work with the cage in the way!  I was gonna go silver but I  cant paint behind the cage without it running. So I decided to go with the tan. [could be a primer too]  Im not sure what other colors would look cool?  Any ideas?   BTW guys the spare in the pic is for sale. 38x13.5x15  BRAND NEW, WITH BLACK STEELIE W/ SIMULATION BEADLOCKS.  0 MILES ON THE TIRE. IM ASKING 225.00  OR  wouold consider trade for a 37x12.50x17  swap whatever.... Im running 37's so someone help me out!

PS my buddies and I are doing an exo on a 87 runner. I will post pix this weekend. Ill try and show some things we've done.

I wasnt the one who designed or fabed the cage on mine. I would have done some things differently. And I still might cutt the rear half of the cage off and re-do it.  I will post pix soon of the 87 runner its gonna be sooo sick!  Taking longer than expected....  Im not trying to claim the work on the cage on my truck....think some guys at fresno state did it?  The tubing bender is a manual bender, Im not sure the brand. My buddy bought it last year.  We have multiple 1''3/4  dies.  Could always use more.  Cant make super tight 90's   Does the trick though.......

I'm thinking about using the ultra flat green. How many cans did you use?

I would get the indoor outdoor textured green paint... My buddy did his like that and its the :pokinit:. Ill post a pic of the paint color.  Its been sitting out in the weather for over a year and still looks like we shot it yesterday. Umm i think I used 5 or 6 cans all said and done.

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike
