one of my buddies used his school loans to buy my complete front and rear axles from me. Then when he gets his next bunch of loan money next month, he is going to pay me to build him an exo, tube flatbed, front bumper, and sliders! School loans are very helpful sometimes!

MY dad's? He still has his car to finish and get out of the garage. Then he is going to start a cab swap on the crawler. He picked up a good 81 body and frame for 100 bucks. Plus I have a crapload of work to do on mine before it can be wheeled again too.

Which is also completely illegal if he got audited. In the federal stafford and plus loan agreements it states that the money can only be used on tuition and expenses directly related to school...

Does he need to change the suspension and axles and add an exo cage to get to school, probably not. But he is probably paying cash sooo he is free and clear more than likely lol

my A-arm mounting on my frame was bent and could not properly align the front end.. thus ate up tires! SO the only way I could properly fix it was to cut the IFS off and SAS it! $Beer Chug\'n$ But I didnt use it all for that, helped with the cost of living and tools.....

Yeah I'm slowly moving with the progress right now. As soon as I get the right clutch next week I can get the drivetrain back in and fab the new skid plate setup. That will be a nice chunk of the project to have done. I did find a set of 80 axles. A guy that I know in CO has a pair that he is going to bring up to SD for me in february. Sorry i never got back to you on the front third. i ended up selling my axles and not needing a third member by itself.

Yeah it probly is illegal, but hey man I'm getting a good chunk of cash for the work, so i am happy!

here are a couple quick pics i took with the phone tonight. i got the hood all cut and fit on and got the hood pins installed. i screwed up the original hood so I had to get one from my buddy. Thats why I have a black hood.

"dis runner is sick yo" hahaha, i barely caught that out of the corner of my eye... haha. an yes. it is absolutey mandatory that i put ring an pinion an lockers in my truck to get to school. otherwise i wouldnt be able to get to class. i looked into it. if your truck breaks down you can pay your school money to fix it. so naturally they blew up. hahaha. i love the dovetail, there just so fun too look at

I made some frame reinforcement plates for the runner at work on friday. Yesterday I got them all welded up. They turned out pretty good. Ive also been working on a bunch of wiring harness re-routing under the hood. Ive cleaned up alot of extra wires and gotten things out of the way so I will have plenty of room for the new shock hoops and power steering reservoir and stuff like that. here are some pics of the frame plates

Dude plates look way dope man!! Very nice work on them dude as always! That sucks your axles are still that far out man!! Also nice avatar brah.. HA HA looks like that one guy still, oh here is a couple pics of the mask man yo runner makes me think of when i look at the front. All mean up in yo bussiness man, dont know his name but he's way sick... HA HA mean as he double ll dude...

I did some work on the air intake system today. The stock rubber pipe that connects to the turbo was a piece of crap, plus it had connections for like four different sized vacuum hoses and i am only using one. So I made a short steel pipe at a 30 degree angle to go between the turbo and AFM. I got two silicone connectors and put it all together. It worked out pretty good. I dont have much room in the engine bay for piping and filter now, so i ended up fitting the filter through the innerstructure by the radiator. the filter hangs out right behind the grill now so it should get good cool air from the front. here are some pics of how it turned out.
