my 7mgte is the same number as yours, and my 2jz is the same number,as your second one...i would say youve purchased a 2j maf.....

that SOB!  he screwed me out of 50 bucks.  unless they are supposed to be the same. so maybe i did fry the one that was originally in my rig, then i bought one for a 2j so it didnt work either.  i would deffinately like you to send me the one you have now!  i'm glad you posted that.

it better be going soon! i have a set of new wheels and tires on the way. should be here next week. i gotta have the truck runnin so i can put them on and start workin on lowering it some more and trimming the fenders!

Hey Boosted.... I got my engine out as you can see and tomorrow my plan is to yank the trans and both front and rear axles. then ill start by getting those shafts off for ya!

i'm just goin nuts thinkin about this afm problem on the BoostedRunner. if crawlerdan's afm doesnt fix it, i'm gonna freak out!!

for sure, I hate doing saying talking asking about this haha, but. Do you know of any legit shops around that would be nice enough to diagnose the problem. I have had to do it a couple times with wiring problems on my truck always turns out stupid easy but after a while it just becomes retarded and you need to do that on some things lol. Just a though if that afm doesn't work.

yeah i know what you mean! sometimes i just break down and want to take it somewhere and pay them to figure it out. but then it is a pretty abnormal engine swap and a repair shop would probly look under the hood and be like... what the hell is that!  we dont know whats goin on under there! lol   I just got the afm in the mail and i'm nervous to even try it  lol. i feel like its not gonna work and i will be really pissed!

ya, identicle, i think he has a crank angle sensor, or cam position sensor thats dirty, or faulty

if  a crank position sensor goes bad then the engine wont even start.  you have to have a signal from the crank and cam sensor for the engine to even run.  i'm gonna post some more questions on the supra forum and see if i can get more info.

Yes he did and they were good but only had a couple. So he added some more and did not help. So its grounded, to the shop floor cause it wont run lol Grounded from all forms of wheel n to. ha ha. That sucks it was not the sensor bro! I do have another buddy in blackhawk that could check it out for ya. Not the ones that did my gears but like a real buddy guy, he's cool. He could tell ya da prob then ya could fix it type of deal. He does race cars and that stuff so he'll totally know bout the swap. He'll even be stoked on it. Let me know, we'll take it to him tomorrow dude!!! HOLLA
